0529 - Long Drive, Chase, CarHenge
Today was a long drive for weak, but pretty, storms and a little touristing. There are also pictures of some members of our chase group at CarHenge.
We left Garden City, KS and drove around 450 miles into Alliance, Nebraska (far north-west). We saw a lot of high based storms, with virga and rain, and both wet and dry microbursts in abundance. No real organization of the storms was observed.
